It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website https://slumberandsprout.com.au, mobile application Slumber & Sprout or other forms of communication between you and us including on other sites we own and operate, email and/or telephone consultation.

We are sensitive to privacy issues and have committed to comply with the Privacy Act 1988(Cth) (Privacy Act), including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), which detail how personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, stored and destroyed, and how an individual may gain access to or make complaints about the personal information we hold about them. We are committed to providing quality services to you and protecting your privacy is paramount to us. We may collect your personal information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you.

  1. We collect personal information about you in order to provide you with our Services (i.e your name, email address, delivery address and other information to enable you to access and use our mobile application, to dispatch Products you have ordered from us and provide our Consultations to you), to contact and communicate with you, to respond to your enquiries and for other purposes set out in our Privacy Policy.

It may be necessary to disclose your personal information to third party service providers who help us deliver our Platform including information technology service providers, data storage, web hosting and server providers, professional advisors, payment systems operators and our business partners or as required by law. If you do not provide this information we may not be able to provide our Services to you. In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties located, or who store data, outside Australia.

  3. Our Privacy Policy contains further information about: (i) how we store and use your personal information; (ii) how you can access and seek correction of your personal information; (iii) how you can make a privacy-related complaint; and (iv) our complaint handling process.

Collecting and holding personal information

We aim to collect personal information only directly from you, unless it is unreasonable or impracticable for us to do so.  For example, we may collect personal information from you through telephone calls and other interactions with our employees and contractors, your emails and other correspondence to us or our employees and contractors, account set up, enquiries and contracts for the use of our services.  

We will record your email address if you send us an email.

If you choose not to provide your personal information, then we may not be able to provide you with our full range of services.

You can be anonymous or use a pseudonym when dealing with us, unless the use of your true identity is a legal requirement or it is impracticable for us to deal with you on such basis.

Requests for Access and Correction

If we suspect that a data breach has occurred, we will undertake an assessment into the circumstances of the suspected breach as soon as practically possible after the suspected breach has occurred. We will notify the Privacy Commissioner of any confirmed breaches and any affected customers as soon as practicable as required by the Privacy Act.
